We went up Purple Mountain this weekend to enjoy the obscenely gorgeous weather, where we discovered that last Saturday was apparently National Sit in the Park and Be Freaking Adorable Day. Also, at one point we counted eight wedding photo shoots going on (and there could have been more). You couldn’t walk ten feet without tripping over a human cupcake. I took a lot of pictures of one couple who set up right in front of us, who were one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen in my life. The guy was more than a good sport about the whole thing - every time the photographer motioned him to join a picture, his whole face lit up and everything about him screamed I AM SO HAPPY TO BE SEEN WITH THIS WOMAN IN PUBLIC STRIKING GOOFY POSES INVOLVING PINWHEELS!!! I wish my battery hadn’t run out as quickly as it did, otherwise I’d have much more to show you.
