BAM. I am having an awesome week. Here are some of the awesome things that have happened to me this week:
- I’m now making more money.
- We’re having ridiculously perfect spring weather.
- Remember that televised Spring Festival ordeal? Hey, guess who just got 500 kuai dropped in her unexpecting hand over that.
- My Friday classes are canceled.
- Some of my students went out and got pet snakes and let me play with them today.
- I’m headed to the Philippines in May for beachy goodness.
I’m in a very good mood at the moment. That’s really all I had to say.

So, I heard this guy on the internet. First, I wondered why I had never heard of him. Then, I wondered who it was that would like him. After a few, “no”, “no”,
“no, that is not it either.” It dawned on me that it was no one I knew, rather someone I didn’t know at all…Still, check out Andrew Bird and if you already have four of his cds and a t-shirt..don’t rub it in ;).

Danie - hi there! Actually, I have heard Andrew Bird (recommended to me by Chris), and you’re right - he’s fantastic. The only album I’ve really listened to is The Mysterious Production of Eggs, which is arguably the best title I’ve ever heard. Do you recommend any others?

I can’t wait to see the pictures! I haven’t been to the Philippines since I was twelve. My mother’s family lives in Cagayan de Oro City.
Why on earth did you not tell me you had a website? And you actually update yours (unlike me and Chris). I had to find out from wordpress informing me that there was a link to my site. Well, this looks like a very nice place (the website I mean) and I will have to make a habit or reading it. I am also glad you are making more money.
